Because it is also called a closed market on Saturday, it is better to avoid Wednesday, especially when going outside Tsukiji. It is recommended to avoid Wednesday as much as there are many shops that make it a regular holiday even if it is not a closed Wednesday. You can buy what you bought on that day except on Wednesday.
